It is a very strange & captivating effect created by the instruments & sounds used. Very thoughtful, I like it a lot! Highly recommended!

The sun departs 'pon my gaze as the trees whisper the chant of night
I head into the darkness of my sanctuary...

The opening inter title from my film "The Edisonic Night Ritual" forms the basis for this grand work.

A year in the making and being my first album to use Hardware Semi and Fully Modular Synthesizers "The Darkness Of My Sanctuary" utilizes its unique vintage sound palette to tell the story of "The Creator", the fabled artist from my Edisonic tale.

In essence "The Creator" is a mixture of myself and the artists who inspired me, he is the ultimate Artistic Revolutionary who will stop at nothing to create "The Grand Masterpiece'. An innovative composer of his day ( 1888-1914) he travels the world observing various groups of Esoteric mystics in search of a new catalyst for his artistic ambitions.

The Creator finds his ultimate muse in Twissestos De Ovtov Edissonikk, a group of mystics based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In March 1909 he travels with his Edison phonograph to their Headquarters at Castillo San Cristobal in the heart of the old town.

He meets with the two Senior Representatives "Liegfeld and Arcanum' and proceeds to document and participate in their famous "Night Ritual".

Fast forward to January 1910...
We are with "The Creator" as he studies his journals and plays back his cylinder recordings of the famous "Edisonic Night Ritual'.

This night is a special one as he is preparing to perform a ritual of his own based on what he learned during his time in San Juan.

He sets out on the perfect mystical winter night to perform his "Night Ritual". Upon completion of the ritual he is a thrust into a "higher" state and has visions of his "Grand Masterpiece'

He is called to complete his monumental work in the bowels of a ship that will soon be known as R.M.S. Titanic.. A vague and euphoric moment that can only hint at the profound changes that are to come.

In addition to this highly personal story, I also come back down to earth to pay tribute to my personal heroes of Vintage Electronic and Progressive rock music.. Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, ELP and of course Tony Banks of Genesis. These timeless colors combined with a strong early 20th century Classical base and my own distinct timbre form the soundworld of DARKNESS
